Every sunday I call my 80 year old mother in Germany and my daughter and son in law,who are stationed in Germany with the US Army.

Cannot make any long distance calls with 10-10-297 Vartec,got a recording.

Now I am calling the 1-800 customer servise line,they are closed,call back monday...in the meantime I am out of luck using my telephone to contact my children and mother overseas!!!!!

Vartec will be gone from my house ,in a VERY Short time.I have always paid my bill on time...what a lousy outfit. At the end of the recording a sarcastic voice whises me a good day,can you imagine how pissed off I am. 1297538

Get a couple calling cards from the dollar store. it's 3 cents/min anytime. Just costs more from payphones.

i use a C.B. radio, channel 14 for communications , might work for you, i don't know for sure.
