The vartec rep said we used their service.We did not use and had no contract with them.They simply said we made call and had to pay.This was on our ATT bill and happened in the past.This company should be investigated for fraud and consumer abuse.

Did not subscribe to their service and to top it off the "long ddistance call" was to my business just a few miles from our residence. Imagine me dialling all those extra numbers to call my office!  ...Out and out scammers. This is about the 4th crammer I've dealt with on my Verizon service. Wonder what their cut of the pie is? |

In November I was billed another 7.50 by Vartec for a minimum usage fee for a completely different September day...a rip off for sure  |

I called and got the same response an the above complaint. "you made the call, it's on your bill" I said I never heard of you and don't use AT&T for calls just internet. The call was made noon time on Sunday (Halloween)When I was home all day. I told the representative (Lisa) that someone would have to break into my house make the call to United Data Tech. in Miami 305-558-5402 for 1 min @.42cents. which in turn incurred $7.87 in phone fees, taxes, minimum usage fees, serv.funds. etc. so for $8.82 for a call I did not make can mount up if you scam enough people. I never heard of 1010-811 or VarTec until this bill came. All my local & long distance is through SPOT TALK or my cell. An AT&T wonders why people are dumping them, I am soon to follow just as soon as I move my internet to another provider. |

I made a call to my brother who was not home, left a brief message on his machine. The call was approx a minute. The next month Vartec charges me a total of over 8.00. I WILL NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND VARTEC. |
