Started with Vartec on Sept. 13, but I was not told that billing cycle starts on the 17, was charged for a whole month of use 9/13-9/16. When bill received I called and canceled service on 9/25 and recently received another bill for a whole month, even though I only made 5 calls from Sep 20 to Sep 24. I Vartec called again to try and get a reasonable bill and was told they could not reduce it, even talked the the "supervisor."

Any other company will start the billing cycle with the start of service, or prorate charges for a partial month. This seems like a scam, they are not reputable. I am glad I got out when I did. It is not a lot of money (about $7) - but the principle of their bad practices. 1297aca
