Had Vartec Telecom as my phone carrier and switched to Comcast. Vartec continued to electronically withdraw payments from my checking account for 2 months after they were no longer my carrier.
Vartec Customer service was blaming and unresponsive saying that somehow this was my fault eventhough Comcast representatives said that they had control of my telephone number and had followed all of the correct FCC procedures. Vartec finally stoped the withdrawals but then said that it would take a long time to be refunded.
Customer service representatives said the refund process would take several months. 5 months later I have not received a refund
